RULES


Only 80,000 tickets will be printed (28,700 single tickets for $100 each, 6,940 3-packs of tickets for $250, 816 5-packs of tickets for $375, and 3,300 8-packs of tickets for $500).

Only ONE method of payment will be accepted.

Only ONE mailing address will be recorded.

Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation Mighty Millions Home Lottery tickets, 50/50 Add-On® tickets and 100 Days of Winning® Cash Calendar Add-On tickets will be mailed separately.

Persons must be 18 years of age to purchase a ticket and the name of a person under 18 years of age may not be written on the ticket due to requirements of the Public Trustee Act.

Only tickets that have been paid for, and verified as paid for, are eligible for the respective draw(s). All inquiries regarding the chances of winning and method of awarding prizes can be made to the licensee at 1-877-773-1593.

The following, including their spouse and any related or dependent person residing in the same household, are prohibited from purchasing a ticket: Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation employees, Board members, the raffle manager and their employees, and partners and employees of Deloitte LLP and its affiliates.

All ticket purchases are final, and refunds are not available. 2,321 prizes will be awarded. All prizes awarded are new product. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated. The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s).

† Each Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation Mighty Millions Lottery ticket in a 3-pack, 5-pack or 8-pack, each 50/50 Add-On ticket in a 5-pack or 15-pack, and each 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On ticket in a 3-pack or 6-pack, must contain the same name and contact information. Prizes must be accepted as awarded.

Retail values are approximate as of date contracts were negotiated with suppliers. Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prizes may rise or diminish over time. Winner or charity is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded. Prize values include taxes and freight, where applicable.

Edmonton Oilers season seats are for the 2018–2019 regular season only; pre-season and playoffs are not included. The Edmonton Oilers and associated logos are registered trademarks owned by Edmonton Oilers Hockey Corp. and are used under license.

DRAW DATES

  • The Bonus ticket sales deadline is midnight, September 28, 2018.
  • The Bonus draw date is October 10, 2018.
  • The Early Bird ticket sales deadline is midnight, November 2, 2018.
  • The Early Bird draw date is November 15, 2018.
  • The Final ticket sales deadline is midnight, November 23, 2018.
  • The Final draw date is December 6, 2018.
  • The 50/50 draw date is December 3, 2018.
  • The Cash Calendar draw date is December 4, 2018.

TICKETS SOLD BY THE BONUS DEADLINE

All tickets sold by midnight, September 28, 2018, will be eligible for the Bonus draw on October 10, 2018. The draw will commence at 1:00 p.m. at the offices of Deloitte LLP, located at 1500, 10180 - 101 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 4K1.

IF ALL TICKETS ARE SOLD BY THE EARLY BIRD SALES DEADLINE

In the event that all tickets are sold by the Early Bird deadline of midnight, November 2, 2018, then all draws (with the exception of the top four valued prizes) will be held November 12-14, 2018, commencing at 8:30 a.m., at the offices of Deloitte LLP. The first draw will be for the Early Bird Prize, which will be followed by 2,319 preliminary draws, drawn in order of retail value beginning with the prizes of least retail value. The top four valued prize draws will be made on November 15, 2018, from the Grand Prize Showhome, located at 3735 Cameron Heights Place, Edmonton, AB.

IF ALL TICKETS ARE NOT SOLD PRIOR TO THE EARLY BIRD SALES DEADLINE

In the event that tickets remain after the Early Bird deadline, then only the Early Bird draw would be made on Global News Morning commencing at 6:00 a.m. on November 15, 2018 at the Global News TV studio, located at 5325 Allard Way, Edmonton, AB T6H 5B8. Ticket sales would continue until the final sales deadline of midnight, November 23, 2018.

All draws (with the exception of the top four valued prizes) will be held December 3–5, 2018, commencing at 8:30 a.m., at the offices of Deliotte LLP. The 2,319 preliminary draws will proceed and be drawn in order of retail value beginning with the prizes of least retail value. The top four valued prize draws will be made on December 6, 2018, from the Grand Prize Showhome located at 3735 Cameron Heights Place, Edmonton, AB.

Approximate total retail value of prizes is $3,467,377.91 (including GST).

Approximate total retail value of the Grand Prize Showhome, 3735 Cameron Heights Place, Edmonton, AB, is $2.47 Million (including GST). Early Bird Prize value is $161,095.28 (including GST). Approximate retail value of the 2019 Maserati Levante is 135,195.28 (including GST) and the approximate retail value of the Maui Family Vacation is $15,900 (including GST).

TITLE TRANSFER

If all tickets are sold by November 2, 2018, possession date and title transfer for the Grand Prize Showhome, 3735 Cameron Heights Place, Edmonton, AB, will be on November 29, 2018. If all tickets are not sold by November 2, 2018, possession date and title transfer will be December 20, 2018.

DRAWS

All draws are open to the public. All prizes must be accepted as awarded with no cash equivalencies available unless otherwise stated. All prize draws are performed manually, as required by the licensing body (AGLC).

Each prize draw will select one (1) winner and that winning token is selected from the draw drum at random.

In the instance where multiple tokens are inadvertently selected from the draw drum, and this is identified prior to the reading of the token number, Deloitte LLP will halt the draw immediately, tokens will be returned to the drum, and the draw procedure will be performed to determine one (1) winner.

In the event that multiple tokens are inadvertently pulled from the draw drum, and this is not identified prior to identifying and reading of the token number, the token number read aloud, confirmed and recorded is deemed to be the first token pulled and therefore established as the valid winner. A draw will only be deemed valid and complete upon final confirmation and recording by Deloitte LLP.

The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s).

All draws will be made as stated. An extension of draw dates or cancellation of raffle will only be requested from the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission in the unlikely event of a natural disaster or catastrophic event.

All winners of prizes will be notified in writing by Deloitte LLP as to what they have won and how to claim their prize. A list of winners will be published online at MightyMillionsLottery.com on November 22 or December 13, 2018. Cash Calendar winners will be posted on this site daily from January 1, 2019 to April 10, 2019.

DRAW ORDER

The first draw is for the Bonus Prize, and the second draw is for the Early Bird Prize. Thereafter, draws are made in order of ascending retail value.

After each draw, including the Bonus and Early Bird draws, the winner is recorded, and the ticket number goes back for the next draw. Each ticket purchased before the Bonus deadline will be eligible for all 2,321 draws. Tickets purchased after the Bonus deadline but before the Early Bird deadline will be eligible for 2,320 draws. Tickets purchased after the Early Bird deadline will be eligible for the remaining 2,319 draws.

Official tickets and prize notification letters are addressed to the primary ticket holder only and mailed to the address provided by the ticket purchaser.

In the event that a winning ticket is held in more than one name, it is the responsibility of the primary ticket holder to share winning information with those parties.

In the event a winning ticket has more than one name on it, the prize will be awarded to the primary ticket holder. The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission are not responsible for any disputes that may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket.

All prize winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize. Where applicable, airfare for vacation prizes is from the Edmonton International Airport. Travel prizes are restricted to the scheduled departure time for airplanes and cruise ships.

PRIZE VEHICLES

Winners of vehicle or recreation vehicle prizes must choose one of two vehicles offered per draw (if a choice is given) or take the cash alternative.

UNCLAIMED PRIZES

The prize winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize. In the event that a winner has not claimed their prize after a 12-month period from the final draw date, and after several attempts have been made to contact that winner, then (with Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission approval) that prize will be returned to the lottery management committee for charitable use by the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Arrangements may be made with the prize supplier to have a prize delivered to the winner at the prize winner’s expense.

50/50 ADD-ON RULES

Only 283,055 50/50 Add-On tickets are available (9,255 single 50/50 Add-On tickets for $10 each, 16,582 packages of five 50/50 Add-On tickets for $25, and 12,726 packages of fifteen 50/50 Add-On tickets for $50). Prize: There will be a guaranteed $228,680 minimum payout for the 50/50 Add-On Prize draw, or 50% 50/50 Add-On of ticket sales (whichever is greater).

Only tickets purchased by the 50/50 Add-On ticket sales deadline of Midnight, November 23, 2018, are eligible for the 50/50 Add-On draw. The 50/50 Add-On draw will be held December 3, 2018, commencing at 8:30 a.m. at the offices of Deloitte LLP.

100 DAYS OF WINNING CASH CALENDAR ADD-ON RULES

Only 63,780 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar tickets are available (12,852 single 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On tickets for $25 each, 5,820 packages of three 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On tickets for $50 and 5,578 packages of six 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On tickets for $75).

Prizes: 100 daily cash prizes of $2,500 from January 1, 2019 through to April 10, 2019. The total prize value is $250,000.

Only tickets purchased by the 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On ticket sales deadline of Midnight, November 23, 2018, are eligible for the 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar draw. The 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On draws will be held December 4, 2018, commencing at 8:30 a.m. at the offices of Deloitte LLP. After each draw, the winner is recorded, and the ticket number goes back for the next draw.

A new winner will be posted online every day from January 1, 2019 to April 10, 2019 at MightyMillionsLottery.com.
