No. Because lottery winnings are not taxable, lottery tickets are not tax deductible.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY TICKET?
Tickets will be emailed to the email address provided at time of purchase. To ensure you receive your tickets, please add [email protected] to your email sender safelist.
HOW DOES THE 50/50 ADD-ON® WORK?
50/50 Add-On tickets are $25 each, 5-pack for $50 or 15-pack for $75.
Prize: The 50/50 Add-On Prize draw payout will be 50% of 50/50 Add-On ticket sales. The winner will take half, and the other half will go to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. Regular updates will be available on MightyMillionsLottery.com.
HOW DOES THE 100 DAYS OF WINNING® CASH CALENDAR™ ADD-ON WORK?
100 Days of Winning® Cash Calendar™ Add-On tickets are $25 each, 3 for $50,6 for $75 or 10 for $100.
Prize: 102 prizes will be awarded. Total prize value is $250,000. The first and last draws will be for $25,000, followed by 100 prize draws of $2,000, completed in order of the 2024 calendar, from January 2, 2025 to April 11, 2025.

All winners of prizes will be notified in writing by MNP LLP as to what they have won and how to claim their prize. A list of winners will be published online at MightyMillionsLottery.com on November 18 or December 4, 2024.
100 Days of Winning® Cash Calendar™ winners will be posted on this site daily beginning January 2, 2025 through to April 11, 2025.
CAN SOMEONE WHO LIVES OUTSIDE ALBERTA BUY A TICKET?
This lottery is intended for residents of Alberta. Tickets can only be purchased within Alberta.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT PICK UP MY PRIZE IN PERSON?
For convenience, we do ship the majority of our prizes to our winners. A few select prizes require in-store pick up due to the customization of the prize. Arrangements may be made to have a prize shipped to you freight collect. Arrangements can also be made for someone else to claim your prize with your written approval and proper identification.
HOW MANY NAMES CAN BE PUT ON A TICKET?
Only one name can be placed on a ticket. The ticket must contain a valid first and last name. In the event a ticket is purchased with a group, neither the licensed charity, MNP nor AGLC is responsible for any disputes among the individuals who purchased the ticket(s).
WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF A "BAD" PAYMENT WAS MADE FOR A TICKET (I.E. NSF CHEQUE)?
Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s). If for any reason a payment is returned, the customer will be contacted to make good on the payment before the ticket is deemed invalid. The ticket will be deemed invalid if payment cannot be made prior to the date of the draw.
IF I WIN, IS MY TICKET STILL IN FOR OTHER DRAWS?
Yes, after each draw the winner is recorded and the ticket number returns for the remaining draws.

DO I HAVE TO TAKE MY PRIZE AS IS, OR CAN I JUST TAKE THE CASH?
Prizes must be accepted as awarded unless otherwise specified in the lottery brochure.
IF I WIN THE HOUSE, DO I HAVE TO LIVE IN IT OR CAN I SELL IT?
Once a home is awarded to a winner and the title is transferred, they do not have to move in. Any prize can be sold if the winner wishes to do so.
ARE LOTTERY WINNINGS TAXABLE?
Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and not taxable in Canada. For further details regarding the sale of such goods, please seek professional counsel.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO CLAIM MY PRIZE?
All prizes must be claimed within six months of the applicable draw date. After six months and after all reasonable attempts to contact the winner have been made, unclaimed prizes will be returned to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation for further fundraising use, subject to Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis approval.
HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO PURCHASE A TICKET?
Purchasers must be at least 18 years of age. Tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor.
ARE THE PRIZES DONATED?
No. All prizes are purchased by the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO PURCHASE A TICKET?
The following and their immediate family members are not eligible to purchase a ticket: Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation employees, Board members, the raffle manager and their employees, and the partners and employees of MNP LLP.
DOES THE NEW CANADIAN ANTI SPAM LEGISLATION (CASL) AFFECT YOUR LOTTERIES?
The primary purpose for sending our Commercial Electronic Messages (CEM) is to raise funds for our charity. Under the CASL, charities are considered exempt when sending CEMs for this purpose.
